Luca Lanari: A Winemaker rooted in craft, carved by the Sea

A legacy in the making

Winemaking isn’t just Luca Lanari’s profession - it’s his heritage. Raised among the vines of Monte Conero, Luca absorbed the rhythms of nature, the scent of fermenting must, the humility of seasons. Today, alongside his wife Paola, he channels that experience into wines that echo both family legacy and modern precision.

Lessons from his father

Luca's father, Leardo, believed in the land long before the world recognized its value. When others pursued volume, he pursued harmony. That belief forms the bedrock of Tenuta Lanari today. "My father taught me to listen first - to the vines, the soil, the weather. Wine comes later," Luca reflects.

A winemaker’s daily ritual

Every morning, Luca walks the rows of vines. He inspects the leaves, checks the soil, tastes the grapes as they ripen. His connection is intimate. And his wines show it.

Paola adds the strategic foresight, ensuring the winery continues to grow while never losing its soul. Together, they embody Porcalorca’s spirit: family, passion, resilience.

Turning adversity into elegance

Weather, market fluctuations, and the pressure of scaling artisanal quality - the Lanaris have faced them all.

But their solution is always the same: double down on quality, never compromise on character.
