Trentino Alto-Adige
Where Mountains Shape Every Glass
Surrounded by the Dolomites, Trentino is a region where cool mountain air, crystal-clear lakes and generations of family winemakers come together to create wines of remarkable freshness and elegance.
Why We Love
Trentino-Alto Adige
Trentino-Alto Adige feels unlike anywhere else in Italy.
Here, vineyards climb the foothills of the Dolomites, cool alpine breezes preserve freshness in the grapes, and nature is never far away. It is a region where mountain landscapes, family traditions and centuries of winemaking exist in perfect harmony.
The wines are defined by purity, balance and a remarkable sense of place. Whether sparkling, white or red, they carry the unmistakable influence of the mountains that surround them.
At Porcalorca, we love Trentino-Alto Adige because it reminds us that great wine isn't only shaped by sunshine - sometimes it's the mountains that create the most memorable expressions.

The Dolomites - Nature's Greatest Winemaker
Towering above the vineyards, the Dolomites shape both the landscape and the wines. Warm sunny days followed by cool alpine nights allow the grapes to ripen slowly, preserving freshness, elegance and remarkable complexity.
Trento – The Heart of Mountain Winemaking
The historic city of Trento has long been at the centre of the region's wine culture. Today, it is internationally recognised for Trentodoc, Italy's finest traditional-method sparkling wines, while remaining deeply connected to the families who have cultivated these vineyards for generations.
Rebo - Trentino's Hidden Treasure
Some of the most remarkable wines are born from patience.
Reboro is a unique red wine from Trentino, created using the Rebo grape and inspired by the region's centuries-old tradition of drying grapes after harvest. Before fermentation, the grapes are carefully left to rest for several months, concentrating their flavours while preserving freshness and elegance.
The result is a wine of remarkable depth and complexity -rich yet beautifully balanced. Produced in limited quantities, Reboro has become one of Trentino's most distinctive expressions and a true reflection of the region's innovative spirit.

Some traditions are simply too precious to disappear.
Made exclusively in the Valle dei Laghi, Vino Santo Trentino is one of Italy's rarest wines and a proud Slow Food Presidium, recognised for preserving an ancient winemaking tradition found nowhere else in the world.
Crafted from 100% Nosiola, Trentino's native white grape, the bunches are left to dry naturally for more than six months -the longest drying process of any passito wine in the world. The grapes are then traditionally pressed during Holy Week, giving the wine its name, Vino Santo, before beginning an exceptionally slow fermentation that can last for years. The wine is then aged patiently in small wooden barrels, developing remarkable complexity, elegance and longevity.
Today, only a handful of family wineries continue this extraordinary tradition, producing Vino Santo in exceptionally limited quantities. The Pisoni family is proud to be among these custodians, preserving not only a remarkable wine but a centuries-old piece of Trentino's cultural heritage.
At Porcalorca, we are drawn to producers who protect traditions that might otherwise be lost. The Pisoni family's dedication to Vino Santo reflects everything we value: respect for the land, patience, craftsmanship and the belief that great wines tell stories that span generations.
Every bottle is not only a rare wine, but a living piece of Trentino's cultural heritage.

VIGNETI DELLE DOLOMITI IGT - TEROLDEGO - TRENTINO
It is believed that Teroldego derives from Tiroler Gold, the "gold of Tyrol," and is considered the quintessential indigenous grape variety. This variety, closely related to Lagrein, can proudly claim Pinot as its distant yet illustrious ancestor. A wine that embodies the Trentino tradition and evokes the mountains.
Grape variety
100% Teroldego.
Vineyards of origin
The family’s Pradi vineyards, sun-drenched and refreshed by the daily breezes that gently sweep through the Valle dei Laghi nested in between the Brenta Dolomites and Lake Garda.
Soil: Sandy, provide the perfect setting for this indigenous grape.
Training system: Trentino pergola, the traditional training system that allows Teroldego to express its full potential.
Season in the field: The excellent climatic conditions ensured optimal phenological ripening, preserving aromatic precursors in the best possible way. This balance is beautifully reflected in the harmony between acidity and alcohol. The grapes, hand-harvested in crates, were picked at the end of September.
Average yield: 50 q/ha.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in small stainless-steel vats, lasting approximately 20 days. Malolactic fermentation is also entirely carried out in stainless steel.

Brilliant ruby red, rich in polyphenols, fresh and full-bodied, floral and enveloping, with aromas reminiscent of forest fruits. On the palate, it is assertive, smooth, round, and has the right tannin structure.

TRENTINO
Man, vine, soil, and climate—great wines are born from the intricate interplay of these elements. In the Valle dei Laghi, these factors form the foundation of an ancient tradition that continues to thrive, driven by the passion of its winemakers: the production of the prized Vino Santo Trentino.
This unique wine begins with the careful selection of the finest Nosiola grapes, an indigenous variety cultivated in a few select, old vineyards. The fully ripe grapes are laid out on racks, known as arele, and placed in attics. These spaces are naturally ventilated year-round by the "Ora del Garda," a characteristic breeze blowing from the nearby Lake Garda. The drying process lasts over five to six months, extending until Holy Week.
Once pressed, the naturally slow fermentation begins. Due to the extremely high sugar concentration, this process can take several years. After bottling, the wine's life begins anew, with its aging potential extending beyond fifty years.
Vino Santo Trentino is not just a wine—it is a testament to the history of this land and the enduring memory of its people.
